*sits down in his tower and looks out over the city.a sigh escapes him as he reminisces about an age long passed.his minicon partner was sitting in the window sill looking out*
theres no life in this city safeguard.not anymore.you wouldnt believe that this once used to be the busiest city on cybertron.but now,now there is no life to speak of,just the bots in this base and even then theres little activity to speak of.maybe its me.in my absence cybertron thrived.maybe the old should just leave to make room for the new...

>Devcon overheard Vector as he was walking passed the tower to his room.<

I wouldn't say that my friend. >He chimed in<
What would the new bots do without the old? They need us just like we need them. We have the wisdom, knowledge and power they need and they have the determination, speed and agility many of us have lost. We can't have one generation run everything. I hate to say it, but the arrogance of the younger generation would destroy what the older generations have worked for. While the older generation can be too traditional in a time where it's "anything goes" (and it goes much faster) behind enemy lines.
Things haven't been the same since the first war. Post war, were lucky enough to survive the attack from Thunderwing when Jetfire's survey team picked up those energy traces here when we thought all was lost. Fortunately Optimus and the others were able to put him to a stop and in doing so, we were able to start the restoration of Cybertron.
I hate to say never, but Cybertron will never be what it once was. >He placed a hand on Vector's shoulder<
But we have something, and something is better than nothing.
>He turned and began to walk away<
I DARE you to resist
